		Fleshrites.com: Hailz man!. Whatīs up with Prejudice?. You were kickinī asses on your tour with Vader and Krisiun. How were things?. All ok? Something interesting to tell us about the tour?. Was this the first big one you made? Prejudice: Hi M8, all good with PREJUDICE! Just back from the "EUROPEAN REVELATIONS TOUR 2002" with VADER, KRISIUN, DECAPITATED! And 2 weeks of vacation haha, must also be happen ah... We are already back rehearsing and writing new songs, that's the main thing for the end of the year and af course the EUROPEAN SLAUGHTER CHRISTMAS tour in December 2002. Thx you man, it was a huge succes for us this tour with VADER, it was also our bigest tour untill now and also with famous bands! Some shows where totally sold out especially in the UK & Greece!
		Fleshrites.com: Almost your actual show is based on your last work ?Reality?, but this is not your first recording (and hope not the last!). Why donīt you play more old songs? Do you think ?Reality? is the best work you made? Prejudice: Normally we played also some old songs but we kicked them out of the setlist in the 1st part of the tour because the songs on REALITY are more in to our new style and more brutal! Also because lots of people don't know that we have 2 albums because the 1st one had almost no distro!! The firts album was called BROKEN PROMISES and was released in '98. And REALITY will be for sure not our last album, beware for the 3th one it will be a killer one! REALITY is the best album from the 2 albums that we brought out, but the new songs that we are writing are the best untill now, yeah i know this sounds like every band tells about their new songs but for us it's like this! The new material is more brutal, groovy & technical then all our prevous work we done. REALITY was for us searching album for the style that we want to continue in the future, but af course with better songs for the 3th one!
		Fleshrites.com: Continuing with live shows, the energy with wich you fuel listeners flames the shows. Do you think is important connecting with the people, as well as good and correct playing? Do you think performance is important to remember a band?.( I say this coz one of your guitar players acts like a metal maniac dancing with frets and chords!). Prejudice: Because of the fans we can go on and that's also the reason why we can tour. No fans no band they are the reason of existance of a band in my eyes, respect u must urn from your fans, if you don't give respect you don't get any respect back! We want to let the songs sound on shows like on the albums, but everything depence on the sound in the club! We try to play as much as possible live because you need it as band to get known by the metalfans! For us its normal playing like u tell us it sound if we are riffmasters on our guitars... And i think u mean me(DEF)! People pay to see a good show not some crap thing and uninteresting band on stage, and in my opinion i think we can do much better on stage and i mean then the performans by the members on stage. That's why i like hard-core perfomans because the stage is always full of cracy bandmembers that play like their lives depence of it!
		Fleshrites.com: You are probably the most technical band from Belgium. Do you think is important know to play or simply ?make as noise as you can??. Are you self-taught?. For you, whatīs the meaning of being technical? Do you think this fact makes you different from other bands actually playing? Prejudice: Yeah that's right. but playing technical music doesn't mean that you are better then some more simple playing bands! Everything depence on taste of your musical likes. We prefere the hard way and playing technical music because we want to hold it interesting for us to play an instrument. We are all self-taught players but we all had some tears of privat lessons with good mucisians, but this long after we played in PREJUDICE! Like i told u: to keep the music interesting for us and to try to a origianal band but it's hard these days to be origianal, not? But we try and i think that we have out own sound and scils?! I really hope that we are diffirend from other bands otherwise it has no use for us that we spend so much time on writing songs! We write 2 months on one song because we want not to bore some listeners with the albums, if you listen to our albums 100 times there will be always something new in the songs that you discover!
		Fleshrites.com: And the music you listen to is also technical or you donīt mind listen to many kind of bands from different styles?. Which are the bands/players you respect the most as musician? Why? Whatīs more difficult: be able to be a great player or play what you really want to play?. Prejudice: We listen to so many types of music and not only to metal like some of u think. The main bands that we like in the band are: CRYPTOPSY, MESSHUGHA, SUFFOCATION, DYING FETUS, DEATH(respect to the bigest mame ever in death metal), TESTAMENT... and many more. That's a good question ;-) Because of what they do is just great, they just do the stuff they like! For us its no problem, we play what we want, u don't like it, fuck it do u love that's just fucking great! LOVE US OR HATE US like KREATOR once told in one of their songs! The second is more hard to become a great player because u must practice a lot for it, but that's the price u pay if u want to make yourself into a good musician.
		Fleshrites.com: And could you say us who are the players under the name of Prejudice?. Is the original line-up?. Do you think your imagination has limits to create? On your last creation ?Reality?, what would you change if you could? Prejudice: On drums we have Frank, Sammy on the bass, Tuni on guitars, me(Def) on guitars/backingvocals and Erik on main vocals. No this is not the original line-up! But thats a hard nuth the crack each time, reader look into the future then look into the past! This line-up is the strongest untill now and we know all what we want with the band and that's a good thing for the band! Be sure it was our NOT last tour with PREJUDICE!! U will be hearing more of us.Imaginations don't have any limits! The new album will be our musical way that we want to walk but we don't want to make every album the some our get boring to our fans! Changes on REALITY, mmm, More fatter guitars, triggers on the bassdrums and a more death metal sound, but that will for our 3th one!!
		Fleshrites.com: When I talked with you after Irunīs gig, you said to me that you havenīt label, but on ?Reality?īs backcover appears the name of ?Painkiller Records?. What happens here? If not have a label, why?. Because your are a fantastic band with superb players and cool music.... Prejudice: No on that matter we didn't had a label, but we are buisy with some so for the 3th album it will be on some label, lets hope a? He only does a little distro of our album together with the label of our drummer Frank! The firts pressing of REALITY had only the small label of our drummer and with the second pressing PAINKILLER was interested for the distro, why not ah its better then nothing! Thx u, so tell it to Metal Blade our Relapse... haha. Maby they can't place us in some catecory of some kind of music, i don't know eather? W'll c what the future brings but the 3th album will see the daylights that's for sure!!
		Fleshrites.com: How do you see your countryīs underground scene?. Any new interesting bands? Prejudice: It's a really good scene there man. There are some killer bands out there like BAALPHAGOR they also play some technical death metal and they are really good in what they do! We played in Spain all sold out shows so, it's a good scene, not?
		Fleshrites.com: Ok, that was all. The moment for last words has arrived..... Prejudice: I will thank U for this great interview and the support to PREJUDICE! RESPECT bro.I would say look out for the 3th album it will be killer and hope to see u all metalheads on the December tour in Spain!!!!
